Henry is a street person with a rough attitude and mean personality. Like Betty, he seems tough and strong on the outside but inside he's a trainwreck of conflicting emotions caused by a hostile home environment he abandoned for the streets.

Henry has an emotional attachment to Betty but he doesn't know if she really cares for him. Just when he's able to prove how much he cares for her he abandons her but redeems himself by forcing her to confront her fears.
